Our Foundation

Mission, Vision & Goals

Rooted in the Great Commission, driven by the Great Commandment. The foundation of GWDM is the Lord Jesus Christ — and its code of guidance is the Word of God.

Our Mission

Advance the Kingdom of God

GWDM exists to advance the Kingdom of God by making disciples of Jesus Christ — and to strengthen every disciple's capacity to produce Greater Works by reproducing disciples of their own. Discipleship is not a destination; it is a lifelong journey of becoming.

Our Vision

Fulfill the Great Commission

We fulfill the Great Commission and Great Commandment by educating believers in what they believe, equipping them with tools to defend and share their faith, and empowering them to live it out fully — spreading the Gospel throughout the world.

Goal · Disciples

Disciple-Followers

Perfected people made complete in Jesus — warned, taught, and presented to God as mature in their relationship with Christ. (Col. 1:28)

Goal · Worship

True Worshippers

Prepared believers competent to serve — growing into the fullness of faith and the knowledge of God's Son. (Eph. 4:12–13)

Foundation

The Word of God

The foundation is Jesus Christ; the code of guidance in all affairs is the Holy Scripture — fully inspired, inerrant, and authoritative. (1 Cor. 3:11)

Article III

Statement of Faith

The doctrinal foundation upon which all of GWDM's teaching and ministry is built.

01

The Holy Scripture

The Bible — all 66 books — is the fully inspired and inerrant Word of God, the supreme authority in all matters of conduct and doctrine.

2 Tim. 3:16 · Mark 13:31

02

The Triune God

One God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each equally divine, executing distinct yet harmonious roles.

Matt. 28:19 · Gen. 1:26

03

Jesus Christ

Born of a virgin, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and personal return — assuring believers liberty from sin's penalty and power.

John 1:1 · Rom. 5:6–8

04

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells every believer — convicting of sin, regenerating, empowering for service, sanctifying, and sealing until redemption.

John 14:16–17 · Rom. 8:9

05

Salvation & New Birth

Salvation is the free gift of God, received through repentance and faith in Christ — not earned by works. Every believer is justified and adopted into God's family.

Eph. 2:8 · John 3:3–7

06

Water Baptism

Baptism by immersion is a direct commandment for believers — a public symbol of identification with Christ in death, burial, and resurrection.

Matt. 28:19 · Rom. 6:3–5

07

Sanctification

A progressive work of grace commencing at regeneration — growing in holiness and continuing until the consummation of salvation.

Heb. 12:14 · 2 Pet. 3:18

08

Divine Healing

Healing of physical illness is provided through Christ's atonement and wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and laying on of hands.

09
